NU Med Clinic has been developed to cater to the needs of men and women in our community in need of professional esthetic and surgical services.

Our desire is to help you combat the effects of years of damage to your skin and to help you regain some of that youthful glow.

We combine minor surgical procedures such as the removal of skin growths, cysts, lipomas and other unwanted “lumps and bumps”. These procedures are performed by a surgeon with 30 years of surgical experience in Canada. Most of these procedures are not covered by OHIP and can cost as much as $400 each elsewhere.  At NU Med these services are provided at a much more reasonable cost to you.

In addition, we will treat varicose veins by sclerotherapy and where suitable, can offer laser treatment for spider veins.

These services require a consultation with the surgeon which is at no cost to you, and can be done at the same visit. You can call us directly to have an assessment done or have your family doctor refer you to the clinic.

Our esthetic services include Laser treatments for hair removal and face and skin rejuvenation and the innovative OxyGeneo 3-in-1 Superfacials. With the large number of darker skin tones in our highly diverse, multi-ethnic community, it was important for us to adopt procedures that are safe for use in these skin types.

Our lasers are specifically designed to treat all skin types with an Alexandrite laser for lighter skin tones and a ND:Yag laser for darker skin tones. Your safety will always come first in discussing and recommending which treatment is best for your particular need.
