PRP HAIR LOSS
Hair loss comes with age, stress and pulling. PRP treatment utilizes a Health Canada approved medical device to draw a small amount of blood which is spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelet rich plasma (blood that has been enriched with plasma) this is injected below the skin using a fine needling into the affected area of the scalp. The platelet causes growth of the hair follicles by stimulating the stem cells in the follicle. They also increase the collagen around the follicle to greater strengthen and increase the blood supply for prolonged viability.
A treatment session lasts approximately 30 minutes. 4 treatments at 1-month intervals is recommended.
